- Be a role model. Take breaks, get plenty of sleep, exercise, and eat well.
- Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to televised news stories. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting.
- Get plenty of sleep, and avoid alcohol and drugs.
- Make time to unwind. Try to do some other activities you enjoy.
- Answer questions and share facts about COVID-19 in a way that your loved ones can understand.
- Stay connected with others by phone, text, Skype and social media.
