The Safford Integrated health center is located on the same campus as Southeastern Arizona Behavioral Health Services, Inc. (SEABHS). This is done in an effort to facilitate an integrated model of delivering care by which a warm hand off from the medical provider to the behavioral health provider can occur. All behavioral health services, including but not limited to, behavioral care, individual and group therapy, couples counseling, psychiatric services, domestic violence counseling, and substance abuse counseling will be provided by SEABHS in their licensed space.

Appointments
Patients are encouraged to make an appointment. However, unscheduled (walk in) patients will be seen in the order they arrive and as they can be worked into the schedule, unless the urgency of the medical condition dictates otherwise.
Hospital Admission Policy
If a patient is in need of hospital admission, they will be referred to the Emergency Room at Mount Graham Regional Medical Center to be treated and admitted. Canyonlands Healthcare staff will follow up with the hospital to ensure the patient is followed and appropriate follow up services are received in the continuum of care.
AFTER HOURS
If a patient needs to seek care after established clinic hours, they are informed to go to the closest facility that offers emergency care 24 hours a day. In the Safford community this is Mount Graham Regional Medical Center. Patients have the ability to access providers after hours through a contracted call service.
HOLIDAYS
Canyonlands Healthcare sites are closed 7.5 days per year for holidays which include: New Year’s Day (January 1); Memorial Day (last Monday in May); Independence Day (July 4); Labor Day (first Monday in September); Thanksgiving (fourth Thursday and Friday in November); Christmas Eve afternoon (December 24); and Christmas Day (December 25). If one of these holidays falls on a day the Safford Integrated health center is open, the center will be closed in observance of the holiday.
Note: Clinics may or may not be closed the week of Christmas or New Year’s depending on staff availability.
