Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) is Arizona’s Medicaid agency that offers health care programs to serve Arizona residents.
On October 1, 2018, an estimated 300,000 AHCCCS members will be transitioned to the new AHCCCS Complete Care (ACC) system. By making this change, patients will have physical and behavioral health services under one plan. The change will affect the majority of adults and children who are currently AHCCCS members.
AHCCCS will be mailing letters to members this June and those people must select a plan by July 31 for services starting on October 1.
Some AHCCCS members will be required to choose a new plan because their plan will no longer be available.
- Some members will have new health plans to choose from when they renew.
- Update your address so you don’t miss important mail! Look for and read any mail from AHCCCS.
